I’m not sure if the pieces I want to order will fit me, what should I do?

Many women are sceptical to shop lingerie online, so you’re not alone. That’s why we work extra hard to help you with size and fit concerns:

  1. In our blog article “5 rules to make shopping for lingerie online a guaranteed success”, we give advice on what to look out for when you buy your first lingerie set on the internet. 

  2. Try before you buy and choose Klarna as your payment method at checkout. You will be asked to pay for your order only after two weeks, which gives you enough time to try the pieces at home, and decide which ones you really want to keep and which size fits you best. This way, you don’t have to pay your order up front and you can order as many sizes as you like.

  3. Shipping and returns are free of charge! Once your order exceeds €40.00, the shipping is free and returns are always free of charge. This means that even if you do not want to keep your items, you will not pay a cent!

  4. We can personally help you find your size and advise on the fit! We recommend you first have a look at our Home Fitting Guide which helps you to identify if your bra fits you well. We also love to schedule a Personal Fitting Session here via  WhatsApp Video Chat, Facebook Messenger, Skype or Zoom.

How do I know which size to order?

Sizing varies amongst the lingerie brands we carry. To make finding the right size as easy as possible for you, we measure each piece according to our sizing standards that you can find here (link to size guide).  You can find specific size recommendations on every product page. We also recommend visiting our Home Fitting Guide that will help you understand exactly how our bras should sit on your body, once you receive your order.

Can I cancel my order?

We ship orders within 1-2 business days. You can cancel your order before you receive a shipping confirmation via mail. Just send us a mail to info@thelingerist.com, mentioning your order number and we will cancel it for you. Has your order already been shipped and you want to cancel it? No worries, you can always send it back as part our our return policy.

Do I have to be home to receive my shipment?

The great thing about lingerie is that it’s small - and so are our packages. They easily fit into your mailbox so you don’t have to be at home all day and wait for the postman/woman.

Can I return the pieces that I ordered?

Of course! Not everything you order turns out to match your expectations or simply does not fit you. This is why we make it as easy as possible for you to return your items:

  1. All returns are free of charge

  2. You can return items within 30 days after you received them.

  3. We cannot accept used products as returns. Please wear light underwear underneath the pieces you try on.

Are returns free of charge?

How do I return the pieces that I ordered? 

We include a link to our return portal in the order confirmation email, shipping confirmation email and delivery confirmation email. Simply click on that link and fill in your postal code, the track & trace or order number, as well as your reason for return. A new shipping label will be generated for you that you stick onto the package and send it back to us. As soon as we received and accepted your return, we initiate a refund (usually within 1-2 business days).

When will I get my money back after I returned something?

After we received the pieces you returned, we inspect them and once accepted, will initiate a refund immediately. Depending on where in the world you are located, it can take up to 2 business days for your money to arrive. We always refund via the payment option you chose at checkout. For example, if you paid with Paypal, the refund will go back on your Paypal balance.

Can I send an order as a gift?

You’ll make someone very happy! Once you are on the cart page, you can leave a note about your shipment, mentioning that it is a gift. We will remove all price indications from the items and wrap it extra nicely.
