"What makes your lingerie sustainable?"

Each brand you can find on our website has a different story and a different approach to sustainable and ethical production. You can read all about the production of each piece on its product page. Next to that we ship our orders in packages made from recycled materials and pay a contribution to make the delivery CO2 neutral.

"Where are the products you're selling manufactured?"

The lingerie you see on our website is made by sustainable lingerie brands from across the world. This means that each product is manufactured in a different way, in a different location. You can read more about where the piece you like is produced on the product page.


size & fit


"How do I know which size to order?"

Sizing varies amongst the lingerie brands we carry. To make finding the right size as easy as possible for you, we measure each piece according to our sizing standards that you can find in our Bra Size Guide, Brief Size Guide or Bodysuit Size GuideYou can find specific size recommendations on every product page. 

"How will I know if the pieces I ordered fit me well?"

After you received your beautiful new lingerie and are trying it on at home, we recommend you check out our Home Fitting Guide.  The Home Fitting Guide will help you understand if the bra you ordered fits you well or if you should try a different size.

"When will my order be shipped?"

If you place your order on business days before 16:30 Central European (Summer) Time, it will be shipped the same day! If you place your order after that time, it will be shipped the following business day.

"How long will it take for my order to be shipped?"

The delivery time depends on where you are located. Usually it takes about:

Local delivery within Amsterdam: Same-day delivery

Standard delivery with The Netherlands: 2-4 business days

Standard delivery within Europe: 5-14 business days

Standard delivery to the rest of the world: 7-30 business days

You will also receive a tracking link in the shipping confirmation email 

to follow the status of your package.

"Do you offer same-day delivery?"

If you live in Amsterdam you can opt for same-day delivery at checkout.

For postcodes 1011 t/m 1019, 1051 t/m 1059, 1071 t/m 1079, 1091 t/m 1094, 1096 t/m 1098 the delivery costs 4.50‎€.

For postcodes 1021 t/m 1025, 1031 t/m 1036, 1061 t/m 1069, 1081 t/m 1083, 1086 t/m 1087, 1099, 1181, 1183 the delivery costs 7.00‎€.

"Where are your products sent from?"

We are based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and most of our 

products are shipped from there. Products from Le Nap, Moja Wear and Save The Wave are shipped directly from the brand's atelier — in this case you will be notified via email.

"Where do you ship to?"

We ship worldwide!

"Do I have to be home to receive my shipment?"

The great thing about lingerie is that it’s small — and so are our packages. They easily fit into your mailbox so you don’t have to be at home all day and wait for the postman/woman.


returns & cancellations


"Can products be returned?

All products can be returned except for products from the SALE. Products from the SALE are NOT eligible for returns. For all product fulfilled by The Lingerist we offer a 60 day return policy. Products from Le Nap, Save The Wave and Moja wear have a different return policy - read more about it here.

"Are returns free of charge?"

If you are located in The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium or France, returns are free of charge. If you live in any other country, please arrange the return on your own. Products from Le Nap, Save The Wave and Moja wear have a different return policy - read more about it here.

"How can I return pieces?"

If your order is eligible for (free) returns, please send us an email to info@thelingerist.com. We will prepare a return label for you that you can print and glue onto your package before bringing it to your nearest post office.


If you want to return products from Le Nap, Moja Wear or Save The Wave, please follow the instructions you received in the shipping confirmation email.

"When will I get my money back after I return something?"

After we received the pieces you returned, we inspect them and once accepted, will initiate a refund within 2 business days. Depending on where in the world you are located, it can take up to 2 business days for your money to arrive back on your bank account.


We always refund via the payment option you chose at checkout. 

"What happens with products after they are returned?"

We inspect returned products carefully to understand that they have not been used or worn (trying them on is okay). After they pass our quality controls we restock them and offer them again for sale.

"Can I cancel my order?"

We ship orders on the same day or following business day. You can cancel your order before you receive a shipping confirmation via mail. Just send us a mail to info@thelingerist.com as soon as possible, mentioning your order number and we will try to cancel it for you. Has your order already been shipped and you want to cancel it? No worries, you can always send it back as part our our Return Policy.

"Can I change my order after I place it?"

 Do you notice a mistake in your shipping address or did you order a wrong size? Let us know as soon as possible by sending an email to info@thelingerist.com. Orders that are already shipped cannot be changed.
