ABOUT THE LINGERIST

The Lingerist was founded to provide women a carefully curated and contemporary selection of sustainable, ethical and independent lingerie brands.

Our selection is continually adapting to womankind - the feedback and requests we receive from our customers influence everything we do. This means that all products are photographed on REAL women, and that users can decide which brands and styles will be featured in upcoming collections.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a store management intern you will be the face of The Lingerist and responsible for building strong and long lasting relationships with our customers.

It is our mission to tell the stories of independent, sustainable, and ethical lingerie brands from all over the world, and it will be your responsibility to ensure that our customers have the best experience when visiting our store in the Negen Straatjes in Amsterdam. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Welcoming and helping our customers in the store

Opening and closing the shop 

Making sure the shop floor is in immaculate condition throughout the day

Processing new deliveries and regular stock counts

Occasional operational responsibilities to support our online shop

SKILLS + QUALIFICATIONS

You have a friendly and outgoing character

You love meeting people and sharing stories

You are proactive and a problem solver, able to take initiative to learn new skills when you find yourself stuck

You have a strong eye for detail and a hands-on mentality

You have excellent communication skills and you enjoy working with people

You speak fluent English, Dutch is a plus

SALARY

This is a paid internship including a monthly bonus for generating sales in our store, fulfilling online orders and collecting positive customer reviews.
