We find few things in fashion more exciting than brands that blur the lines between underwear and outerwear.
Fashion designers have long been inspired by turning garments inside out and playing with norms of what is acceptable to show. Who could forget Jean Paul Gaultier's famous pointy bra signature styles, paraded by Madonna on her iconic Blonde Ambition tour? Or the more sober approach of Helmut Lang in the 90s sending models on the runway in micro bras and sheer tops.
Even though this trend started over 40 years, we can't seem to get enough of it, and many contemporary brands went viral on social media with their jersey corsages and mirco strap bralette tops.

We selected 5 designers who are doing an outstanding job incorporating the delicate and sometimes utilitarian elements of lingerie in their collections.

Whether this trend is just nice too look at and to wear for your home instagram photo shooting, or if it's something you could actually wear outside, going to buy some groceries or to your company's Christmas party?
